2025 Fall Tackle Football

Portage Pop Warner Tackle Football is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and competitive environment for young athletes to develop both their football skills and personal character. Open to children ages 5–14, our program emphasizes teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and physical fitness while helping players build confidence and life skills that extend beyond the field.

In the 2025 season, we will offer multiple age divisions to ensure that players of all skill levels have the opportunity to participate, from beginner to advanced. With experienced coaches guiding each team, our focus is on skill development, teaching the fundamentals of football, and promoting a positive team environment where athletes can grow and have fun.

Key Features of the 2025 Season:

Age-Appropriate Divisions: We offer age-based teams for players ranging from 5 to 14 years old, ensuring a level of competition that’s both challenging and appropriate for each child’s developmental stage.
Player Safety: The safety of our players is our top priority. Our coaching staff is trained in proper technique and concussion awareness, and all athletes will be equipped with the necessary protective gear to ensure a safe experience.
Skill Development: Players will learn the fundamentals of football, including passing, catching, blocking, tackling, and understanding game strategy, all while having fun and making lasting friendships.
Teamwork & Sportsmanship: Emphasis is placed not only on athletic ability but also on developing life skills like teamwork, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship. Every player is encouraged to grow and succeed both individually and as part of a team.
Inclusive Environment: We are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where every child, regardless of experience or skill level, can thrive.

Season Highlights:

Practices Begin: Early August
Games Begin: Mid-August
Season Ends: Late October (playoffs may extend into November for qualifying teams)
Games Held: Local and regional competitions, offering a great mix of home and away games
Experienced Coaching Staff: All of our coaches are volunteers who are trained in the fundamentals of football, concussion safety, and coaching best practices.

2025 Fall Cheerleading

Portage Pop Warner Cheerleading offers young athletes the chance to develop both their cheerleading skills and leadership abilities in a supportive, fun, and competitive environment. Open to girls and boys ages 5–14, our cheer program focuses on building confidence, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, while encouraging a love for the sport and the spirit of community.

In the 2025 season, our cheerleaders will have the opportunity to learn a variety of skills, including stunts, tumbling, cheers, chants, and formations, all while promoting school spirit and supporting the Portage Pop Warner football teams. Whether your child is new to cheerleading or has experience, our coaches are dedicated to helping each athlete grow and succeed.

Inclusive Environment: Portage Pop Warner Cheerleading provides a welcoming space for all athletes to succeed, whether they are learning the basics or perfecting advanced skills.
